Adjective:	Having or showing the capacity to develop into something in the future.
Noun:	Latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness.

Potential. There's so many opportunities for potential to be realised, whether it be career-wise, hope and dreams, or relationships. Deciding what potential you should act upon is what becomes difficult. Do you strive to reach the potential you envisage, or do you fear the thought of things failing so much so that you sit and let chances pass you by? Although perhaps most things that have potential are never taken, never fulfilled, one day that one tiny thing you saw potential in can flourish into something beautiful.

I do this as much as the next person, but I think that people should act on their impulses a little more: spend some extra time getting the grade you want; talk to that girl in your class who has that cute little laugh; get on a plane and fly half way round the world to meet someone! Some are a tad more achievable than others, but someday, at least I hope, taking that extra leap of faith could change your life.
